Bik. frantar had a brilliant opportunity to reply as Š. Šegina received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only A. Bik's reflexes saved him. The referee showed frantar's V. Kovač the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The home crowd cheered when, after 35 minutes, A. The kaj fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, kaj's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Skurcoňák of kaj took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 68 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 4. With 68 minutes played, the frantar coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. T. Guerinoni came on, S. Zofic had to leave the fray.
