Dark skies made the crowd of 33647 at Ma Super Si Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Grosso who could only look on as the Super player blasted one home. 1 - 0. E. Lombardo had a fantastic opportunity to put Super up another goal 14 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Bukve levelled the score after 21 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as A. Hristov struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. Bukve's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. Super could have put themselves ahead after 24 minutes but J. Lammi missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Bukve took the lead 27 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. V. Lüchtringen was the scorer. Bukve's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Super claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Super's J. Cigoj was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Super tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. Super enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Super's top performer was clearly S. Pastonchi. J. Marucio turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Bukve player was without a doubt A. Hristov. D. Velemir on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
