Rubio Envite alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 40 minutes Droljice's P. Heinikainen had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. H. Badetscher came in to replace him. At 43 minutes played, F. Obad came in from the right with the intention of giving Droljice the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Droljice, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

Droljice's E. Gregersen was shown a yellow card after 49 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Droljice made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left M.
