Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 19 minutes into the match, and Y. Jaziri wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. Rendijevi's A. Mpoulas refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 26 minutes. J. Sarrù of Rendijevi seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by E. Ríos. After 31 minutes, Cukuni put themselves up 1 - 2, as A. Sanelma finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Cukuni, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Rendijevi's A. Wrzodak put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 2 - 2 with 47 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. After 55 minutes, the Cukuni coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Y. Jaziri off the field. A. Mammana took his place. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when A. Mammana was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 65 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! Rendijevi had to manage with a reduced squad after 72 minutes, as A. Wrzodak got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. 73 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but A. Amill, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, T. De Wilde scored for Rendijevi putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 74 minutes. The Cukuni coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. As the game started to slip away for Cukuni, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

Rendijevi's best player was V. Stoilov. J. Ovando on the other hand, had a terrible day. B. Gali performed admirably for Cukuni. Z. Lovreković turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
