(382809835)

14-07-2012 13.45
A scorching day at
Old Trafford, where 55922 spectators were in place for today's match.
Glauco Rosa Melo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lukas Studler and
Ming Yau Bing.
All of
Osijek was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Osijek.
Lineup: Gonçalves - Fabiszewski, Ruijter - Żaczkiewicz, Sonaglia, Spierenburg, Kudela, Jory - Allewelt, Popescu, Pinčić.
Ganoderma had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.
The following players took the field: Saračević - Debeljuh, Brezovcsik, Čavka, Bruketa - Fissore, Bračanov, Cerraeta, Skočić, Kotisaari - Järvi.
Ganoderma preferred to finish off their attacks from a distance.
A badly positioned defensive formation on a free kick after 19 minutes led to Ganoderma's
E. Cerraeta giving the visitors the lead 0 - 1.
It was obvious that the tactic of the day for Ganoderma was to go for long shots, but in order to score they have to do better than the shooting attempt from
S. Kotisaari after 22 minutes, which was a total failure.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 33 minute mark, Ganoderma's
A. Debeljuh hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
35 minutes into the game, Ganoderma were awarded a penalty and
E. Cerraeta was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 2 rolling the ball in by the right post.
0 - 2 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ganoderma, with 51 percent of the ball.
The home team's supporters got excited again when
P. Pinčić broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2.
After 73 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Ganoderma was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
R. Jory didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play.
Ganoderma had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
P. Pinčić performed admirably for Osijek.
R. Jory turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important Ganoderma player was
A. Saračević.
G. Fissore was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 1 - 2.
