The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 57834 had shown up at Hackerin F.C. Arena for the match. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Hackerin. The following players had been chosen: Spompato - Ferreiro, Kuleša, Draheim - Allagui, Klarić, Sezay, Serrand, Verberne - Monge, Zarro.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Losninhos. At 10 minutes played, V. Klarić came in from the right with the intention of giving Hackerin the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. After 11 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Losninhos on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by J. Aguado to make it 0 - 1. After 23 minutes of game time, J. Garot had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but G. Spompato was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Zarro from Hackerin a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 24 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Losninhos's J. Aguado went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. 27 minutes into the game Losninhos managed a counterattack, but D. Clavero took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. P. Zarro made a nice dash down the wing after 28 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Hackerin, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

J. Garot came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over G. Spompato but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 71 minutes into the match, an alert L. Serrand bagged the ball for Hackerin, levelling the score to 1 - 1. 77 minutes in, Hackerin's M. Kuleša received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Losninhos's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 80 minutes gone, but M. Barzasi's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Hackerin claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

Hackerin's top performer was clearly R. Monge. H. Verberne turned in a dismal performance, however. Losninhos's best player was M. Barzasi. A. Mättö on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
