For their match strategy, teleko had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. After 7 minutes, teleko sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached J. Fernández, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 1. V. Hautschek was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Team with a strike from the left, but A. Daspaleizas managed to ward the shot off for a corner. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Z. Gielo from teleko a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 31 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Due to a severely mistimed tackle, L. Delaruelle of Team spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. Team's M. Bobotis put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 35 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. G. Merino knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 1 - 2 after 39 minutes. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

With 51 minutes played, M. Bobotis of Team fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The crowd was on its feet 53 minutes into the match, as Team's L. Delaruelle found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 2 - 2 equaliser. After 65 minutes, the Team coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving N. Barbera off the field. G. Uva took his place. Priding himself in being an active coach, the Team manager gave new instructions to his players after 65 minutes. R. Richards made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 65 minutes into the match. G. Uva bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for Team. 3 - 2. The home crowd just couldn't believe it when J. Rodríguez Cano missed a penalty after 66 minutes of the match. 74 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 3 - 3 as N. Rexach struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. 75 minutes into the game, teleko wanted to bring some new energy to their game. J. Casas gave N. Gabitzer a quick hug as he left the field. Team took the lead 77 minutes in, as L. Delaruelle broke through on the left and put the 4 - 3 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. teleko needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes N. Rexach made way for J. Saseta. Team had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

The most dominating Team player was without a doubt G. Uva. M. Ribas turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important teleko player was Z. Gielo. J. Saseta on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 3.
