With the scoreboard showing that 21 minutes had been played, Celrà.com nearly put themselves up another goal after J. Remedios came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 30 minutes, Celrà.com tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Celrà.com, with 52 percent of the ball.

Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Purple manager used a brief break in play after 60 minutes to give the players new directives. Purple's E. Barros got himself booked for a foul. Celrà.com had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. J. Rodríguez increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, T. Fontanillas would have put Celrà.com up another goal 76 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Purple's J. Aso was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. In a fantastic display of determination, Celrà.com's G. Ramiro Muñoz forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. The referee showed Purple's G. Leplat the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Celrà.com enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Purple's top performer was clearly C. Gervasoni. E. Berriolo turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Celrà.com player was M. Pérez Marín. G. Ramiro Muñoz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
