Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, D. Márquez did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Coming in from the right, Pinganillo had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 40 minutes, but A. Kuthan's attempt to finish was easily stopped. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Mazaricos scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for S. Velarde after 44 minutes. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Mazaricos had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
