Sulin was, after 9 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper M. Adikal made the save. santamarteam came close to extending their lead as K. Punkka delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 27 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. With the scoreboard showing that 28 minutes had been played, santamarteam nearly put themselves up another goal after K. Punkka came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. maestro210 almost scored after a counterattack 29 minutes into the match, but A. Irazustabarrena took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. santamarteam enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

58 minutes into the game, santamarteam worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The coach of santamarteam was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 65 minutes, E. Costas came on for D. Sierra Torras. With 70 minutes played, santamarteam's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to A. Sulin he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 2. Confident in their lead, santamarteam's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. santamarteam increased the lead to 0 - 3 as A. Ruiz scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Content with how the game was proceeding, the santamarteam coach let C. Muro replace J. Gavaldà after 79 minutes. The santamarteam coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 79 minutes into the game.
