Teo Scipioni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jody Shakeshaft and
Raffi Marxer.
A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Dragon.

Some great play up the middle by Dragon led to a chance for
S. Coll to score after 9 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
Piratona's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 10 minutes gone, but
Z. Valaoras's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper.
Down the middle came
G. Křivohlávek, making a fantastic play that nearly had Piratona take the lead after 15 minutes, but
O. Bañales preserved the tie.
Dragon had to make a substitution after 19 minutes.
G. Parcero limped off the field and was replaced by
M. Dampildorg.
After 21 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Piratona's
E. Sancho being carried off the pitch and replaced by
J. Señora.
After a fine move down the middle
M. Dampildorg nearly gave the home side a goal after 25 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
R. Husband was very close to giving Dragon the lead with an ingenious free kick routine 31 minutes into the match, but the ball just grazed the bar.
0 - 0 was the halftime score.
Dragon claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
M. Dampildorg of Dragon was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
Piratona caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 70 minutes into the match.
S. Estrader was able to finish off the move - 0 - 1.
With clinical precision, the cross from winger
F. Camisasca found its way to
P. Salas's head, and a screaming header gave Piratona the goal after 74 minutes played. 0 - 2
After 76 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
P. Salas to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3.
The home crowd was not impressed when
S. Estrader came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 79 minutes. Piratona were now up 0 - 4.
By now, the players in Piratona felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
J. Alberti Rovira charged down the left and looked sure to score for Dragon 82 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide.
Dragon had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
Dragon's best player was
J. Alberti Rovira.
M. Dampildorg on the other hand, had a terrible day.
S. Estrader performed admirably for Piratona.
C. Romero Guerrero turned in a dismal performance, however.
