Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 50334 at Reino de Castilla today. Dragan Smetana was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hermanis Medutiņš and Paul Böckeler. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Cuellarano. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Cuellarano, the score now 1 - 0. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 36 minutes, Cuellarano tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. 39 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as B. Gagaev broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Cuellarano. 41 minutes in, Nottraigan's F. Marcos Igualada received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Cuellarano, as A. Tarradellas left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. T. Florit took his place on the field. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Cuellarano scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Mora Martín after 43 minutes. Cuellarano managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when T. Florit cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Cuellarano lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The referee showed Nottraigan's I. Caín the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Cuellarano had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.

Cuellarano solidified their lead at the 48 minute mark, as L. Chumaceiro dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. With 59 minutes played, Cuellarano put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to F. Macías Casado, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 65 minutes, J. Mora Martín put Cuellarano ahead 7 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 69 minutes into the match Nottraigan's A. Pujolriu viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. Cheers filled the stadium as E. Mira broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to Cuellarano. 78 minutes into the match V. Stocker put Cuellarano ahead 9 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. Possession in this half belonged to Cuellarano, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

The most dominating Cuellarano player was without a doubt M. Cucaller. F. Macías Casado was a disappointment, however. Nottraigan's top performer was clearly F. Marcos Igualada. T. Pelachs on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 0.
