Stoller elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. 12 minutes into the game Walls's A. Solares found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. Joventut took the lead 31 minutes in, as P. Escurriola broke through on the left and put the 2 - 1 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. After 41 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Soto Mediero gave the Joventut supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 2, as A. Laranjeiras struck home, set up well by a play on the left 43 minutes into the match. It was 3 - 2 at the break. Joventut had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

Coming from the right, R. Stoller almost managed to score another goal for Joventut, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. A great save by keeper A. Seruis after 56 minutes kept the visitors in the game after A. Maier struck from the left with a real cannonball. Walls were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 57 minutes, S. Vilamajor swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 3 - 3. They were singing the praises of A. Bondzinskis 58 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 4 - 3 to Joventut. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 60 minutes, Joventut tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. The coach of Joventut was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 65 minutes, A. Lozada came on for R. Stoller. Joventut's C. Irazazábal had an excellent opportunity after 65 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Still trailing on the score board, Walls adjusted their tactics after 71 minutes. R. Kalniņš had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with G. Holguín Garralón. Walls needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 72 minutes R. Kalniņš made way for F. Gal. The bench was restless, and with 77 minutes passed Walls's coach gave G. Camps the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Vera reluctantly left the field. With 79 minutes played, the Walls coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. B. Meunier came on, S. Vilamajor had to leave the fray. Possession in this half belonged to Joventut, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

J. Soto Mediero performed admirably for Joventut. A. Bondzinskis turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Walls player was without a doubt B. Meunier. On the other hand, F. Gal's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 3.
