Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! 24 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as A. Vera struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Carretera took the lead 27 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as C. Majer elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Walls's M. Nhân Tông soared above the crowd, but couldn't knock the corner home 32 minutes into the match. The home team will be cursing A. Laranjeiras for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 2 - 2 after 33 minutes. J. Maćkiewicz gave Carretera the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 3 - 2 Halftime score was 3 - 2. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

It was obvious that team Carretera had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. 52 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Majer broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Carretera. By now, the players in Carretera felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 72 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as M. Martynów anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 4 - 3. Cheers filled the stadium as P. Álvarez broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 3 to Carretera. The away team improved the scoreline to 5 - 4, as A. Vera struck home, set up well by a play on the left 88 minutes into the match. Walls enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

C. Majer performed admirably for Carretera. E. Veraguth turned in a dismal performance, however. Walls's best player was A. Solares. S. Jeppsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 4.
