By now, the players in Jerna felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. R. Zarpas acted with superior experience when, 42 minutes into the match, he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal. 3 - 1 for Javas! It was 3 - 1 at the break. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Jerna's R. Piñeiro increasing the lead to 4 - 1. J. Pérez Gil should probably have put his team up another goal after 77 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by C. Mongiardino kept the visitors in the game. Jerna enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

Jerna's best player was A. Portabella. I. Carvajal was a disappointment, however. Javas's top performer was clearly F. Ablitas. H. Uthmani turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
