Clear skies welcomed the 38123 spectators who had made their way to Guy Fawkes estadio. Loïc Bougault was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hércules Barrada and Jaco van Abeelen. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Atl.VilardeVacas. Lineup: Zanki - Keisa, Bik - Raguenel, Carcova, Dyjas, Pitt, Rajahalme - Maconi, Wagstaetter, Giraud.

Awil decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players had been chosen: Disorna - Villamil, Tavares, Drundín, Cadramón - Churruchano, Gennesiadis, Samoil, Salerno, Nandino - Pujolà.

The wings were the focus of most of Atl.VilardeVacas's attacks today. Atl.VilardeVacas could have put themselves ahead after 7 minutes but E. Bik missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. With 8 minutes gone, J. Villamil suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Awil caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 22 minutes, Atl.VilardeVacas did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, E. Pitt was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 0. Atl.VilardeVacas put themselves up 2 - 0 when G. Giraud broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Confident in their lead, Atl.VilardeVacas's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Atl.VilardeVacas claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The corner kick from T. Keisa was powerfully met by the head of P. Rajahalme to make the score 3 - 0. The home side failed to add to their score as T. Keisa shot a penalty wide after 50 minutes. Awil's J. Villamil was shown a yellow card after 63 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home side's G. Maconi came close to extending the lead 64 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but R. Disorna managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Atl.VilardeVacas's G. Giraud refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 73 minutes. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Atl.VilardeVacas to 4 - 0 as F. Raguenel finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Awil fought on and, after 82 minutes, J. Villamil was able to reduce the deficit to 4 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. Atl.VilardeVacas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

The most dominating Atl.VilardeVacas player was without a doubt G. Maconi. Z. Zanki on the other hand, had a terrible day. Awil's best player was P. Pujolà. A. Cadramón turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
