Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 55022 at Cuna de gaia today. Nedim Jaggi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sébastien Poisson and Klaas Carlo. lucer decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. They fielded: Fathke - Godayol, Faraglia, Botta, Finger - Chaguer, Zacharko, Orie, Hämmerl - Jasionek, Gloria.

PENAS FC started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Lambert - Gil Cano, Galaup, Arigbabu - Stere, Hasperhoven, Rodríguez Esquivel, Cardoso, Mora - Kulasik, Barboni.

After some beautiful movement down the left wing, K. Orie scored for lucer putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 2 minutes. With 16 minutes played, G. Gloria could have brought this one home for lucer as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. S. Galaup finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, K. Orie came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving lucer the lead. lucer's M. Chaguer was shown a yellow card after 24 minutes for slicing down an opponent. In the lead, lucer adjusted their style of play with 30 minutes gone. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of lucer to 3 - 1 as G. Gloria finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by lucer, with 55 percent of the ball.

The lucer players could smell victory in the air. G. Gloria wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Cervello after 46 minutes. The referee showed PENAS FC's T. Kulasik the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Unfortunately for lucer, M. Faraglia was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. I. Villadell replaced him. lucer increased the lead as L. Hämmerl struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After this, you could see that the players of lucer were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. M. Chaguer seems to have an uncanny ability to try the unusual. He nearly produced a great goal - unfortunately for lucer his shot went just wide this time. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Cervello forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Possession in this half belonged to lucer, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

lucer's best player was D. Zacharko. I. Villadell on the other hand, had a terrible day. T. Kulasik performed admirably for PENAS FC. R. Lambert was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
