Massoteres certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but J. Lagos Mellado just wasn't able to finish. G. Menghini could have put Druids up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 28 minutes. F. Olivares increased the lead for Druids to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The players of Druids now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Given a free kick close to the byline, Druids tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Z. Farfán slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 4 - 0, 33 minutes into the game. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Druids enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

With 47 minutes played, D. Ravés had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. I. Mínguez struck a 30 metre free kick home 87 minutes into the match. 5 - 0 for the home team. Druids claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

J. Lora Guerrero performed admirably for Druids. However, A. Arévalo made a disastrous appearance. Most important Massoteres player was I. Valdivia del Corral. P. Alifirenko on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
