Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 42247 to
Homero's Inferno.
Emilio Caimi was the appointed referee.
Homeros decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Moreno Uribe - Gutiérrez, Eyundiano, Cabaspre - Ameixenda, Unceta, Solares, Olalalde, Pérez - Desclergues, Byrkjeland.
Hounlypower had chosen a strategic 4-3-3 formation.
Starters: Bajelan - Radu, Driutti, Varona, Sabando - Bucovaz, Mulier, Aguillar - Sáenz Treviño, Arruebo, Benito.
2 minutes into the match, the speedy
F. Arruebo easily outpaced
P. Eyundiano, chipped the keeper and made the score 0 - 1.
Hounlypower's
E. Sabando placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but
F. Arruebo couldn't finish.
The cannonball from 35 metres by
J. Olalalde of Homeros was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net.
35 minutes in, and Homeros were able to score the equalising goal to make it 1 - 1 when
E. Byrkjeland picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper.
After 39 minutes
F. Arruebo made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to
A. Benito who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 2.
Due to some great work on the right wing Homeros's
P. Eyundiano was able to even the score after 40 minutes to make the score 2 - 2.
2 - 2 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Homeros, with 74 percent of the ball.
S. Mulier would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
A. Donne entered the game for Hounlypower as the match clock showed 60 minutes.

As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
R. Ansink took over the role of being the Hounlypower captain.
O. Pérez sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
P. Eyundiano after 72 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 2.
Homeros managed to extend their lead to 4 - 2 when
O. Pérez cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
Homeros enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
Homeros's best player was

O. Pérez on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Hounlypower player was without a doubt
