Clear skies welcomed the 20825 spectators who had made their way to Dinamita Arena. Louis Mühren was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joaquín García and Philippe Chauvet. Cartuchos had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. They fielded: Ferran - Rynsewyn, Cavazza - Comes-Franchini, Prem, Raud, Maeso López, Gaffar - Brandariz, Ciaño, Forcadell.

A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for CeciToni. The following players had been chosen: Narbona - Tarruell, Zoppi, Genovard, Falcó, Vidaurre - Toro Díaz, Espiñeira, Hernández, Guastini - Gambocorta.

Cartuchos showed off their creative tactics. The corner kick from L. Forcadell was powerfully met by the head of R. Brandariz to make the score 1 - 0. After 11 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after M. Espiñeira made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. CeciToni's S. Gambocorta managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 20 minutes. 1 - 2. With 22 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Gambocorta of CeciToni to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. It was 1 - 3 at the break. CeciToni enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

Some fine movement on the left led to a CeciToni goal after 53 minutes, making it 1 - 4. Q. Tarruell was noted down as the scorer. The players of CeciToni now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A drive down the left side allowed J. Hernández to get in close and score another goal for CeciToni after 65 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 5. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 67 minutes, CeciToni did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, I. Falcó was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 6. CeciToni's I. Falcó was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 68 minutes. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 80 minutes into the match, putting CeciToni ahead 1 - 7. M. Guastini was the scorer. After 82 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. Gambocorta to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 8. At that, S. Gambocorta was noted down for a hat trick! S. Gambocorta received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 84 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 9. The CeciToni fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. CeciToni had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.

R. Brandariz performed admirably for Cartuchos. However, J. Rynsewyn made a disastrous appearance. Most important CeciToni player was E. Toro Díaz. P. Zoppi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 9.
