Sánchez-Bella nearly gave the home side a goal after 3 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. After 20 minutes, Botitas's B. Bote made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for BrutalDeluxe1, but M. Vid's shot went over the bar. After 25 minutes of play, Ó. Croy evened things up for BrutalDeluxe1 with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. After 26 minutes, Botitas put themselves up 1 - 2, as A. Torres Aragon finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. No matter how hard he tried, M. Vid just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 40 minutes. 41 minutes into the game, Botitas had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. It was 1 - 2 at the break. BrutalDeluxe1 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

During the break, Botitas's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. BrutalDeluxe1's J. Starović got himself booked for a foul. J. Saboya came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over H. Lopes but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. A. Canals left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 57 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. E. Singuerlín was the replacement. BrutalDeluxe1's G. Pimentel Zúñiga made a successful breakthrough on the left after 57 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. BrutalDeluxe1 tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. BrutalDeluxe1 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 71 minutes T. Eskibel made way for P. Vanfraechem. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 73 minutes, BrutalDeluxe1 did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Ó. Croy was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 2. The game was close to savage at times, and BrutalDeluxe1's J. Starović received a second yellow card after 75 minutes; his ticket out of the game. There was concern in the stands when, at the 77 minute mark, BrutalDeluxe1's M. Vid hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Possession in this half belonged to BrutalDeluxe1, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.
