Teis 1 - 8 Brasatto (382890400)

The 23423 spectators at MiNaS TiRiTH were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Kai Gruse was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Stany Moya and Olaf Ukenings. Teis decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Aminifar - Kressibucher, Novković, Melstvedt - Minzo, Hammerschmid, Mancebo, Pons, Mainez García - Grönstål, Kalchev.

Brasatto started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Garcés - Slovatik, Escourido, Abelló - Lubawa, de Biescas, Jiménez, Evigui, Anaya - Juarrero, Mitjans.

With 5 minutes played, Brasatto's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to E. Mitjans he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 1. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by K. Grönstål. At last, Teis's P. Mancebo was able to backheel the ball in. 1 - 1. The home keeper expected a move to the right, but V. de Biescas surprised him with a free kick aimed the other way 14 minutes into the match. 1 - 2 for Brasatto. A lovely run by Brasatto's M. Lubawa left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. With 29 minutes played, Brasatto put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was V. de Biescas. The players of Brasatto now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The home crowd was not impressed when R. Juarrero came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 35 minutes. Brasatto were now up 1 - 4. M. Novković's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. F. Abelló increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 5. It was 1 - 5 at the break. Brasatto enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

B. Escourido left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Valero was the replacement. As the match clock hit 46 minutes, Brasatto regrouped to try and keep their initiative in the game. O. Slovatik high-fived X. Anaya as they swapped positions on the team. X. Anaya wanted to play on, but the Brasatto coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by C. Capela. Brasatto increased their lead after 53 minutes when M. Lubawa broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. 59 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 7 as M. Lubawa finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Brasatto coach let E. Nilsen replace R. Juarrero after 60 minutes. P. Kressibucher tried to get a goal back for Teis but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. The referee showed Teis's M. Novković the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With the scoreboard showing that 73 minutes had been played, Brasatto nearly put themselves up another goal after E. Nilsen came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Some fine movement on the left led to a Brasatto goal after 77 minutes, making it 1 - 8. R. Jiménez was noted down as the scorer. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Brasatto, with 70 percent of the ball.

P. Mancebo performed admirably for Teis. However, R. Aminifar made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Brasatto player was without a doubt E. Mitjans. C. Capela was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 8.
