(382890456)

11-08-2012 14.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 42501 at
El Chovito today.
Arnold 'Terminator' Kuropatkin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Per Torgård and
Moritz Flamming.
OmegaForce decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Malo - Brancal, Guiluz, Pompeyo - Orla, Puigtió, Udoy, Perdigón, Orleans Borbón - Haversjö, Matamala.
Bonitos started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Milijosa - Lequerica, Alzamora, Peláez - Saura Mora, Muñoz, Cocat, Madalena, Ballester - Cascales, Rovira.
The wings were the focus of most of OmegaForce's attacks today.
It was obvious that Bonitos were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
A. Orla scored for OmegaForce putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 11 minutes.
12 minutes into the game, OmegaForce were awarded a penalty that
D. Haversjö turned into 2 - 0 without a problem.
The crowd roared its approval when
F. Malo somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Bonitos's
G. Rovira 26 minutes into the game.
At this time in the match, Bonitos were using their skill at pressing to successfully stifle the game.
OmegaForce's
S. Matamala had an excellent opportunity after 37 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
39 minutes in, OmegaForce's
G. Udoy received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
J. Lequerica's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Bonitos, he bravely continued in the match.
2 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by OmegaForce, with 52 percent of the ball.
The away team improved the scoreline to 2 - 1, as
F. Muñoz struck home, set up well by a play on the left 60 minutes into the match.
After 68 minutes,
D. Haversjö put OmegaForce ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of OmegaForce lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
G. Udoy wanted to play on, but the OmegaForce coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by
F. Nevers.
With 72 minutes played,
D. Haversjö could have brought this one home for OmegaForce as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
OmegaForce enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
Most important OmegaForce player was
G. Brancal.
H. Orleans Borbón on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Bonitos player was without a doubt
J. Cascales.
V. Alzamora turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
