previous 8/10 next 10/10  Catllar 3 - 0 hombres (382892669)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 40589 had shown up at C.F. El Catllar Arena for the match. Lars Mischa Arntz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jooa Silokivi and Mike Büchner. Catllar tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Bataglin - Spale, Rojas Solís, Hammemi, Kreissl - Forsberg, Bucchi, Eich, Garardi - Desplans, Puente.

hombres started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Araujo - Parapar, Gandala, Ceroni - Kivioja, Carboni, Huizen, Levy, Zinngraf - Kampherbeek, de Wijk.

Catllar were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Catllar took the lead after 10 minutes as a result of J. Spale's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. It was obvious that Catllar had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. P. Forsberg increased the lead for Catllar to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After a short break after 12 minutes, Catllar seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. After this, you could see that the players of Catllar were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. P. Forsberg caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately E. Garardi was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Catllar, with 58 percent of the ball.

The Catllar players could smell victory in the air. J. Spale wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for F. Peláez after 46 minutes. E. Garardi should probably have put his team up another goal after 46 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Araujo kept the visitors in the game. Catllar were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. Catllar increased the lead as J. Rojas Solís struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Á. Puente left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 55 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. S. Filewicz was the replacement. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Filewicz got himself booked. The manager of Catllar was not happy. After 75 minutes, the Catllar players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. Catllar enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.

E. Garardi performed admirably for Catllar. However, F. Peláez made a disastrous appearance. hombres's best player was M. Huizen. J. Zinngraf on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
