Šefránek got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. G. Madariaga Sáenz squirmed through their central defence after 34 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. TERRASSA's E. Beckin got himself booked for a foul. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of KALIMOTXO to 4 - 1 as J. Quadra-Salcedo finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 39 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Mendariz broke through, making the score 5 - 1 for KALIMOTXO. Confident in their lead, KALIMOTXO's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. TERRASSA's U. Pater was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 41 minutes. Halftime score was 5 - 1. KALIMOTXO claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

KALIMOTXO's J. Quadra-Salcedo had an excellent opportunity after 48 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! KALIMOTXO's N. Hoogland saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 49 minutes. With 50 minutes played, KALIMOTXO put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to G. Madariaga Sáenz, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. A. Mendariz sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from L. With 70 minutes played, the TERRASSA coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. S. Olchowik came on, E. Beckin had to leave the fray. The bench was restless, and with 75 minutes passed TERRASSA's coach gave J. Hakamski the opportunity the player had been hoping for. C. Veng reluctantly left the field. T.
