Ojczyk, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. The visitors didn't give in and, after 33 minutes, F. Cigala got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. A. Goldschmitz had a good opportunity to give Tianix the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. With 37 minutes played, A. Medina Cantalejo of Tianix fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to aleti, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Making his way up the middle 50 minutes into the match, W. Stein almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert G. Höwel blocked it to keep the score level. With 68 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. A. Medina Cantalejo put the ball away for 1 - 2. After 69 minutes, aleti's I. Petrov fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit J. Gonçalves just fine. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 79 minutes played, W. Stein of aleti made the score 2 - 2. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, R. Szmul got himself booked. The manager of aleti was not happy. Tianix's A. Medina Cantalejo refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 82 minutes. After 83 minutes, M. Alagón sent the corner kick right to E. Playà who headed it sharply past the keeper. 3 - 2! With 84 minutes played, J. Gassol came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Tianix. After 89 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and E. Playà gave the aleti supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 2. This third goal completed a hattrick for E. Playà. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by aleti, with 53 percent of the ball.

J. La Porta Navarro performed admirably for aleti. N. Fabricius on the other hand, had a terrible day. Tianix's best player was M. Soncco. M. Ojczyk was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
