The 31986 fans in attendance at Nou Estadi FCQ were roasting in the hot sun. Jaber Rais was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Markus Tujula and Julien Rivière. Soltero received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. V. Matović's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for F.C.Q., he bravely continued in the match. After 22 minutes, the defensive line of Fight created a counterattack through the middle that gave M. Bañueta a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. F.C.Q. took the lead 28 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as V. Matović elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. V. Estella of F.C.Q. was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Undaunted, Fight managed to tie it all up after 37 minutes, with F. Nava's lucky free kick. The score was 1 - 1. A. Avellaneda behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 41 minutes as he gave the ball away to M. Bañueta. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by F.C.Q., with 56 percent of the ball.

After a fine move down the middle A. Hagedorn nearly gave the home side a goal after 58 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. V. Estella remonstrated furiously with the referee after F.C.Q. had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch. V. Azamet was the new captain of F.C.Q. - handed the armband by the departing player. 81 minutes into the match, the visiting Fight made the score 1 - 2 after F. Nava executed a perfect free kick. F.C.Q.'s M. Sardo got himself booked for a foul. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Fight, as A. Barrachina left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. L. Figueiros took his place on the field. Fight's M. Bañueta made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 86 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Usually a powerful player on the field, G. Hubmann looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. Possession in this half belonged to F.C.Q., who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

F.C.Q.'s top performer was clearly V. Azamet. On the other hand, V. Matović's play was disheartening. Most important Fight player was F. Nava. However, B. Antepazo made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
