Fulastron 3 - 1 Northlanders (382895853)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 42007 had shown up at Full aster stadium for the match. Hugo Antunes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Digvastra Kubendran and Benny ''Bråfarn'' Läfvenbo. Fulastron decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. The following players took the field: Palmiotto - Main, Danielsson - Lischka, Prunes, Kotev, Hirschegger, Civile - Claris, Blömer, Villasmil.

Northlanders tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Starters: van Diemen - Vedel, Levi, Borino - Asti, Rodríguez, Behenský, Lugosi, Mikelj - Gaşpar, Mirvald.

After 12 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but Y. Levi's free kick hit the crossbar. Fulastron were very close to putting themselves one up after 17 minutes as M. Claris got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. J. Blömer caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 26 minutes. This gave Fulastron the 1 - 0 lead. The visitors didn't give in and, after 32 minutes, L. Mirvald got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. After 33 minutes, M. Claris came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Fulastron the lead. Northlanders's J. Rodríguez got himself booked for a foul. P. Palmiotto's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Fulastron, he bravely continued in the match. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Fulastron, with 57 percent of the ball.

In a rapid move 58 minutes into the match, A. Villasmil of Fulastron lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked M. Claris who easily hit it home to make it 3 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Fulastron enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

The most dominating Fulastron player was without a doubt M. Claris. On the other hand, P. Palmiotto's play was disheartening. Most important Northlanders player was L. Mirvald. Y. Levi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
