A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 20670 to
Candeal.
Hennes Reutz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Zhivko Stoykov and
Mieczysław Kuchta.
Manchego had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
They fielded: Brihuega - Goroneta, Bartolini, Zubeldia, Kook - Matas, Nervik, Cabanillas, Puitti - Fontidueña, Opiela.

The sun seemed to put

A.D.Escullar had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.
Manchego supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to
J. Goroneta who reduced the visitors' lead after 57 minutes to 1 - 2.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the A.D.Escullar coach let

A. Andreozzi after 75 minutes.
