previous 4/4 next 2/4  Kram 2 - 1 Barela (382898009)

47559 spectators arrived at Kram Nou, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Thom Reekers was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jan-Philip Fuchs von Grünfeld and Matías Fiorentino. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Barcelona derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Kram decided to use a 5-4-1 set up. The following players took the field: Taborda - Bujia, Cocón, Magariños, Dorca, Robert - Técher, Beltran, Sáenz Malo, Sapata - Busquets.

Barela started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Caparica - Sierra Galán, Mlakar, Tauginas - Reale, Vada, da Viña, Luca de Tena, Chacín - Serumaga, Legun.

Down the middle came J. Tauginas, making a fantastic play that nearly had Barela take the lead after 11 minutes, but J. Taborda preserved the tie. Kram took the lead 14 minutes in, as D. Magariños broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Barela levelled the score after 29 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as M. Legun struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kram, with 55 percent of the ball.

Kram's R. Sáenz Malo lived up to his reputation for finding unexpected ways to get the ball in the net when he sent a nifty little pass over to F. Busquets who finished for 2 - 1 with 57 minutes of the match played. The Kram players could smell victory in the air. M. Sapata wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Bech after 70 minutes. Kram's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! P. Técher's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. Kram had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Kram's best player was J. Taborda. É. Robert was a disappointment, however. Most important Barela player was M. Serumaga. O. Chacín on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 1.
