The 34989 fans in attendance at
Coliseum Legafe Arena were roasting in the hot sun.
Benito Galetto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fernando Gabea and
Nikolay Punchev.
Getazulón started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Montsalvatge - Giraldell, López Ruiz, Aybar - Campañó, Mancebo, Ferradas, Cayas, Baena - Real de Asua, Mier Marín.
C.F.Torello had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Hospital - Johns, Kucák, Rayer - Faucon, Strohschehn, Mårtensson, Fogu, Tasić - Nabuco, Vasars.
Getazulón had a good opportunity to take the lead as
T. Ferradas came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
A. Hospital.
J. Carbonell was called on to replace Getazulón's
T. Ferradas after 34 minutes following a nasty collision.
After a fine move down the middle
R. Cayas nearly gave the home side a goal after 35 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
G. Rayer.
O. Mårtensson came close to putting the visiting team one up 38 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but
X. Montsalvatge managed to tip the ball to a corner.
C.F.Torello's
R. Johns gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 39 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
0 - 1 was the halftime score.
C.F.Torello had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
H. Faucon came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
X. Montsalvatge but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
The intense heat forced
J. Mancebo into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others.
The coach of C.F.Torello was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 65 minutes,
C. Lis came on for
O. Mårtensson.
After 72 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
R. Johns who increased C.F.Torello's lead to 0 - 2.
After this, you could see that the players of C.F.Torello were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
X. Montsalvatge got a fingertip on
N. Tasić's shot from the left 78 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal.
Getazulón's
J. Baena was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box -
J. Mier Marín managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 2 after 80 minutes.
After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 84 minutes into the match, an alert
R. Cayas bagged the ball for Getazulón, levelling the score to 2 - 2.
The referee showed C.F.Torello's
R. Johns the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.

R. Cayas was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
P. Villa Calzadilla replaced him.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by C.F.Torello, with 62 percent of the ball.
Getazulón's best player was
J. Mier Marín.
On the other hand,
P. Villa Calzadilla's play was disheartening.
A. Vasars performed admirably for C.F.Torello.
D. Fogu on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 2 - 2.
