For their match strategy, KB24 had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Alagon took the lead after 8 minutes as a result of E. Tavares Correia's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as C. Fried broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Alagon. P. Erro enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. A great save by keeper K. Enggrob Bøndergaard after 41 minutes kept the visitors in the game after E. Reichlin struck from the left with a real cannonball. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. N. Birne squirmed through their central defence after 42 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Confident in their lead, Alagon's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Alagon had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

E. Carromeu knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 3 - 1 after 65 minutes. S. Nygren increased the lead for Alagon to 4 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! There was concern in the stands when, at the 87 minute mark, Alagon's A. Petreuş hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Alagon claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

Alagon's best player was E. Reichlin. A. Petreuş turned in a dismal performance, however. P. Erro performed admirably for KB24. F. Sviggum on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
