Mars's shot rattled off the post. It was obvious that F.P.L.N had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. After 75 minutes, J. Puig put F.P.L.N ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At this point, it was obvious that the players of F.P.L.N lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of F.P.L.N to 3 - 0 as G. Aizpurua finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Herrera had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 79 minutes, but L. Igarzábal's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. Possession in this half belonged to F.P.L.N, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.

F.P.L.N's best player was F. Barrera. R. Loera on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Herrera player was without a doubt M. Muñoz. F. Irun was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
