I3F increased their lead after 8 minutes when I. Endueñas broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. P. Jubera did everything he could to get one back for his Lajustador, but keeper A. Cota denied him with a spectacular block. After 23 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Nieto who increased I3F's lead to 0 - 3. R. Santamaría challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 23 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. P. Barroso increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. The home crowd was not impressed when R. Cidrás came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 31 minutes. I3F were now up 0 - 5. After this, you could see that the players of I3F were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. I3F claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

After 58 minutes, I3F's J. Malvárez burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. There was concern in the stands when, at the 70 minute mark, I3F's I. Endueñas hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. I3F's R. Cidrás was shown a yellow card after 73 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Lajustador's A. Ordóñez went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Endueñas a chance to increase the lead for I3F, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. Lajustador's J. Compta was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 82 minutes. M. Gómez de Espinosa left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. F. Caín was the replacement. J. Nieto wanted to play on, but the I3F coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 89 minutes into the game by R. Montes. The I3F players could smell victory in the air. A.
