The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by limpias, with 52 percent of the ball.

Making his way up the middle 62 minutes into the match, A. Villacián almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert M. García Casielles blocked it to keep the score level. limpias fans held their breath as A. Savion scampered down the left side.
