Pleasurdome clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Today, Gaupasa's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Gaupasa were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Gaupasa's L. Enache after 6 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. With 19 minutes played, Pleasurdome's K. Kotkas found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. With 20 minutes gone, Gaupasa had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, G. Premoli did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. 21 minutes in, Gaupasa's D. Hochl received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A penalty was missed by Gaupasa's L. Enache 22 minutes into the match. Probably overconfident, he blasted a hard shot miles outside of the left post. Players in Gaupasa heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, G. Premoli would have put Gaupasa up another goal 30 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. A counterattack by Pleasurdome after 31 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but C. Cillara, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Gaupasa enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

66 minutes into the game, Gaupasa worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. M. Buskermolen got a fingertip on M. Kienbacher's shot from the left 79 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. R. Falih was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Pleasurdome's defence 80 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 1 - 1. Pleasurdome's O. Caballero placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but R. Falih couldn't finish. After 82 minutes, Gaupasa put themselves up 1 - 2, as K. Juroszek finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. With 84 minutes played, Gaupasa put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was P. Apodaca. Gaupasa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Pleasurdome's best player was C. Cillara. However, M. Buskermolen made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Gaupasa player was without a doubt G. Premoli. C. Kroog was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
