(382909316)

28-07-2012 14.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 45735 at
Where is Pepe? today.
Kjetil Hauge was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Siewert Naudts and
Lasse Hagelmo.
Kali had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Parpinello - Escalzo, Schnoy, Anchelergues - Valero Ríos, Tornero, Olmos, Cortés Valiente, Toro Calderón - Álvarez, Garay.
Tapipolo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Posch - Pintos del Valle, Abengoza, Díez de Arellano - Serrano, Robaczewski, Lonza, Serrahima, Dahlgrén - Galiano, Mansur.
With 11 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
Ó. Garay flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
Kali increased the lead as
P. Álvarez struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
32 minutes into the match, Tapipolo replied and reduced the lead to 2 - 1.
J. Díez de Arellano scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left.
After 35 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
P. Álvarez gave the Kali supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
M. Galiano from Tapipolo a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 39 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Tapipolo had to make a substitution after 40 minutes.
D. Mansur limped off the field and was replaced by
O. Angulo.
42 minutes into the game, Tapipolo's attack got through on the right, but
A. Serrahima couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms.
It was 3 - 1 at the break.
Kali enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
With 55 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Kali resulted in a counterattack that set
F. Tornero free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Kali coach let
P. De Vilder replace
K. Schnoy after 60 minutes.
After 61 minutes,
P. Álvarez put Kali ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
P. Álvarez.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kali, with 57 percent of the ball.
Kali's best player was
F. Tornero.
G. Parpinello on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating Tapipolo player was without a doubt
M. Galiano.
J. Dahlgrén turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 4 - 1.
