Mugardos showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for Viriatos after 86 minutes to make the score 1 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Viriatos lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by E.R. NESPE, with 57 percent of the ball.

The most dominating E.R. NESPE player was without a doubt A. Varga. E. Dołkowski turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Viriatos player was N. Latinčić. On the other hand, J. Gailly's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 4.
