Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 22490 to Sir Nigel Loring. Gilberto Giacaman was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Dragos Agache and Mario Heminger. DUKEOFEARL could have put themselves ahead after 14 minutes but H. Choklati missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Making his way up the middle 18 minutes into the match, T. Bilyk almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert T. van Creveld blocked it to keep the score level. A questionable penalty 22 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as T. Bilyk knocked the ball home. J. Moleiro of DUKEOFEARL received a yellow card after 23 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. K. Rath finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 25 minutes into the match. 1 - 2 was the score with 28 minutes played, after T. Baudoin cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Camps. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 34 minutes into the match, an alert S. Međedović bagged the ball for DUKEOFEARL, levelling the score to 2 - 2. J. Moleiro knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the DUKEOFEARL player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. DUKEOFEARL had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Camps's S. Pürenvar after 60 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 2 - 3 lead. DUKEOFEARL equalised after 68 minutes after a brilliantly placed penalty by T. Bilyk. Camps's D. Mcdowell was shown a yellow card after 71 minutes for slicing down an opponent. At 79 minutes played, T. Bilyk came in from the right with the intention of giving DUKEOFEARL the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 82 minutes into the match, and S. Pürenvar wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 3 - 4 for the visitors. 84 minutes into the game, S. Urquijo came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. DUKEOFEARL enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

S. Albiol performed admirably for DUKEOFEARL. S. Međedović turned in a dismal performance, however. Camps's best player was D. Mcdowell. On the other hand, J. Hermigas's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 4.
