previous 2/4 next 4/4  FC.belloqui 1 - 1 Bartrina (382919513)

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and volusia saw a crowd turnout of 34748. Davy Clyncke was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hurşit Karakaya and Pedro Lisboa. FC.belloqui tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Szaniszló - Puca, Ørvad, Soeteman - Grönquist, Kudrašovas, Powroźnik, Negelein, Nonbo - Ankudimov, Tishbi.

Bartrina decided to use a 5-4-1 set up. The following players had been chosen: Uhland - Tottenham, Montesinos, de Feria, Larralde, Frittoli - Barba, Pío Baroja, Bartusiak, Valverde - Lengefeld.

Bartrina clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. I. Bartusiak was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Bartrina counterattack from the left after 11 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 1. After 18 minutes of play, Ł. Powroźnik evened things up for FC.belloqui with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. FC.belloqui enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 72 percent of possession.

Bartrina's A. Valverde got himself booked for a foul. J. Ørvad was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so FC.belloqui's L. Hansen had to come off the bench. 59 minutes into the game, Bartrina seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. A counterattack by Bartrina after 61 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but A. Valverde, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. 63 minutes into the game, Bartrina seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. After 65 minutes, the FC.belloqui coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving L. Grönquist off the field. J. Ilardi took his place. Some great play up the middle by FC.belloqui led to a chance for S. Tishbi to score after 67 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 72 minutes, the FC.belloqui coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. 75 minutes into the game, FC.belloqui wanted to bring some new energy to their game. P. Nonbo gave R. Bestagno a quick hug as he left the field. Priding himself in being an active coach, the FC.belloqui manager gave new instructions to his players after 75 minutes. With 76 minutes played, D. Tottenham of Bartrina fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Possession in this half belonged to FC.belloqui, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

Most important FC.belloqui player was A. Ankudimov. J. Ilardi turned in a dismal performance, however. F. Frittoli performed admirably for Bartrina. However, D. Tottenham made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1.
