Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for GeRyWeLL. The wings were the focus of most of orellut's attacks today. G. Ðušić was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from GeRyWeLL's defence 4 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 1 - 0. orellut levelled the score after 9 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as J. Eza struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. After 14 minutes, orellut put themselves up 1 - 2, as W. Motley finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. A wonderful trick by E. Helinen that left A. Tella bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. It was 1 - 2 at the break. orellut had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

GeRyWeLL's G. Ðušić showed his experience, anticipating the outcome of the opponent's defensive clearance and positioning himself perfectly to volley in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box. 2 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave N. Carlsen from GeRyWeLL a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! M. Vetrano was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so orellut's A. Ramet had to come off the bench. After 59 minutes orellut's J. Cleriguet limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 67 minutes, the GeRyWeLL coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving G. Kovačec off the field. W. Kuczyński took his place. Some great play up the middle by GeRyWeLL led to a chance for T. Abbott to score after 70 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. A. Tella sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from E. Da Costa after 71 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 2. orellut claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

GeRyWeLL's best player was G. Ðušić. M. Bado turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important orellut player was J. Eza. On the other hand, A. Ramet's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
