Clear skies welcomed the 26278 spectators who had made their way to Mcarthy's Club Arena. Alf Lindhhall was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Guy Weibel and Anders Sörensson. Sulas's R. Svensson managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 18 minutes. 0 - 1. Sulas's M. Cuius got himself booked for a foul. The crowd roared in delight as M. Hegewald finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Mcarthys 28 minutes into the match. 1 - 1. The guests almost went up by a goal after 31 minutes when N. Heras Aguilar came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Sulas, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

50 minutes into the game, R. Svensson almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. P. Aaby caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 62 minutes. This gave Mcarthys the 2 - 1 lead. An equalising goal seemed certain after 70 minutes when H. da Lama attacked down the left wing, but J. Utset just managed to make a save to keep the ball out of the net. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Mcarthys to 3 - 1 as S. Anganga finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Sulas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Mcarthys's best player was S. Salmenmaa. On the other hand, E. Kılıç's play was disheartening. The most dominating Sulas player was without a doubt R. Svensson. W. Puma turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
