LPC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Chicharril coach let R. Boixo replace F. Castellbell after 46 minutes. LPC put pressure on the visitors' central defence 56 minutes into the game, but N. Sfirichtridis couldn't find an opening. C. Aleman wanted to play on, but the Chicharril coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 65 minutes into the game by J. Tomé. After 65 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Chicharril found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. Chicharril were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 69 minutes, J. Palacín swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 0 - 2. After 79 minutes, a deliberate handball from Chicharril's S. Vello was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. With 85 minutes played, M. Escudero was very close to reducing the score for LPC with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. 87 minutes into the game, Chicharril seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. LPC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

LPC's top performer was clearly F. Palamides. However, J. Grootswagers made a disastrous appearance. C. Parrilla performed admirably for Chicharril. On the other hand, R. Boixo's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 2.
