Clear skies welcomed the 21695 spectators who had made their way to Veiga de Forcas Arena. Kim Kidman was the appointed referee. Bouzón made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Forcas's V. Contamina put his head to a high ball coming in from the right after 31 minutes, but the ball went wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Roux's shot from the left 86 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Forcas, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper R. Kulin and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Forcas, but C. Irujo's finish was way too lame. With 89 minutes played, Picota's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to C. Merlet he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Picota lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Picota had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

D. Garriga performed admirably for Forcas. R. Aretio turned in a dismal performance, however. Picota's top performer was clearly C. Merlet. T. Roux was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
