Morreo started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Di Cristofano - Orosz, Bazoli, Verdugo - Janse, Penadés, Cerrada, Marra - MacNair, Treseder-Griffin, Tuczyński.

Slack defending gave C.F.Benicalap a chance to take the lead with 33 minutes played, but K. Knirsch-Wagner's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Delgado scored for C.F.Benicalap putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 35 minutes. C.F.Benicalap put themselves up 2 - 0 when K. Knirsch-Wagner broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 41 minutes played, K. Knirsch-Wagner could have brought this one home for C.F.Benicalap as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to C.F.Benicalap, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

The home team's fans were upset when, after 50 minutes, the visiting T. MacNair broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 2 - 1 was the score. 51 minutes in, Morreo's H. Treseder-Griffin received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. G. Udobro was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so C.F.Benicalap's L. Agramunt had to come off the bench. Morreo levelled the score after 56 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as M. Janse struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. Morreo took the lead after M. Janse curved a free kick into the net. 2 - 3 The home crowd was not impressed when B. Tuczyński came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 62 minutes. Morreo were now up 2 - 4. C.F.Benicalap had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

C.F.Benicalap's top performer was clearly G. Chalco. L. Agramunt on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Morreo player was B. Tuczyński. D. Bazoli turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
