Clear skies welcomed the 35000 spectators who had made their way to Los Alamos. Chihambuane Chipambere was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niels Fløjstrup and Tobias Bliemel. Muxía were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. G. Bauer gave Alamos the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Muxía's E. Xermade refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 20 minutes. After 24 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and D. Holló gave the Alamos supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Muxía, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their I. The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 51 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by J. Valle. 3 - 1 for the home side. By now, the players in Alamos felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 52 minutes in, Muxía appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. After 57 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Muxía found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. R. Hendricks left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Priolo was the replacement. The home side's Z. Tajes came close to extending the lead 63 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but E. Xermade managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. The Alamos players could smell victory in the air. F. Bronet wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for F. Degrooff after 67 minutes. After 75 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by J. Valle might have resulted in another goal for Alamos. However, E. Xermade made a spectacular save. Good work by the Muxía defensive line after 76 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found G. Manzanaro alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Alamos, with 55 percent of the ball.

Alamos's top performer was clearly L. Widerdahl. R. Brussee on the other hand, had a terrible day. G. Manzanaro performed admirably for Muxía. E. Xermade turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
