Right from the start it was obvious that Castolo were expecting an easy victory. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 3 minutes into the match left Castolo's C. Peper completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 4 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed R. Verhoef of Castolo to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Z. Polman received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 11 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Castolo fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. By now, the players in Castolo felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Castolo increased the lead to 0 - 4 as Z. Polman scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. The home crowd cheered when, after 19 minutes, Z. Polman's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 20 minutes, Castolo sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached F. Belloso, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 5. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Castolo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

After 64 minutes, Castolo raised their score by one when C. Peper's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by E. Dietsche. 0 - 6. After 66 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for E. Dietsche who increased Castolo's lead to 0 - 7. Castolo came close to extending their lead as E. Dietsche delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 72 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The visitors added to their lead 73 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Castolo's Z. Polman slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 8. By then Z. Polman had scored three goals - a hat trick! Z. Polman fired a shot from distance after 75 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Castolo. Possession in this half belonged to Castolo, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.

ALBERICIA's top performer was clearly A. Maokouli. O. Closa on the other hand, had a terrible day. Castolo's best player was F. Belloso. A. Youbi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
