Yankov put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. MARA2 increased their lead after 15 minutes when M. Gustavsson broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. Turneros's J. Thycosen had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 19 minutes having been played. F. Laurense was the replacement. 20 minutes into the match, the speedy M. Epelbaum easily outpaced C. Filattiera, chipped the keeper and made the score 1 - 2. In a rapid move 22 minutes into the match, M. Epelbaum of Turneros lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked F. Laurense who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 2. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! After 36 minutes, a long pass from Turneros's F. Stålskog caught the defence out of position. V. Callejas collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 3 - 2. 3 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Turneros, with 51 percent of the ball.

MARA2 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 55 minutes M. Gustavsson made way for A. Viñambre. The visitors' A. Chiappa was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 3 - 3 after 69 minutes. V. Callejas seemed to be impossibly far from the goal, but he looked up and bang! A real cracker for Turneros after 71 minutes. 4 - 3. 76 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 4 - 4 as F. Gusmeroli struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Turneros, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. MARA2's I. Tendinha gave the visitors a 4 - 5 lead after 84 minutes with a superb strike from the right. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 85 minutes into the match, and M. Epelbaum was able to score, taking the scoreline to 5 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Turneros, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Turneros's top performer was clearly T. Skorić. J. Desio turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important MARA2 player was A. Chiappa. C. Goupil on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 5.
