Mâncio swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Maravillas's M. Premm was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 40 minutes. After 41 minutes Unknown's D. Augustyn contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. A. Riveros Martín tied the game at 1 - 1 after 44 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. Unknown's K. Motzet got himself booked for a foul. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Unknown, with 57 percent of the ball.

The terraces were silenced after 71 minutes when Maravillas's F. Morínigo put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. With 73 minutes played, Unknown's A. Yáñez-Fajardo found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. The Unknown equaliser came after 80 minutes when Z. Romero floated in a free kick making the score 2 - 2. Unknown's G. Selstad was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Maravillas, as J. Basagoiti left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. M. Solano took his place on the field.
