The 23033 fans in attendance at DaxMa Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Liav Reznik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Julian Bertele and Natale Rantolo. DaxMa decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Ferrús - Naydenov, Csatlós, Artegi - Gualano, Ferraguti, Ruipérez, Pedo, Winter - Pujó, Ercilla.

The referee showed Chavales's S. Kızık the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 33 minutes gone, DaxMa had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, M. Ercilla did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Chavales took the lead after 36 minutes making the score 0 - 1. S. Kızık placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Chavales had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

With 46 minutes played, the DaxMa coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. P. Ferrazzano came on, A. Gualano had to leave the fray. DaxMa put pressure on the visitors' central defence 60 minutes into the game, but T. Csatlós couldn't find an opening. The sunny day didn't make things easy for G. Winter who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. Chavales's X. Maia made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 69 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Some things can only be learned through experience, and F. Pinto should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting DaxMa a goal with 82 minutes of the match played. The crowd chanted their encouragement as DaxMa's J. Pujó came in from the right after 86 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chavales, with 54 percent of the ball.

DaxMa's top performer was clearly J. Pujó. P. Ferrazzano was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Chavales player was without a doubt E. Jiménez Quirós. X. Maia turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
